Addressing Health Inequities in Our Communities

At Be Well & Co., we recognize the harsh reality that African Americans face some of the worst healthcare outcomes in the United States.

In states like Minnesota—ranked among the top for medical treatment for white residents—Black residents experience some of the worst healthcare systems in the nation.

Research highlights that Black women, in particular, face devastatingly unequal treatment, higher maternal mortality rates, and poorer health outcomes, often due to systemic racism, limited access to quality care, and prohibitive medical costs.

These inequities do more than just harm individuals—they devastate families and communities.

As survivors and witnesses of these challenges, we are committed to standing in solidarity with the African diaspora, working to support those directly impacted.

Our mission is to provide assistance and resources to underserved populations, especially those navigating the compounded difficulties of systemic oppression and health disparities.

To that end, portions of proceeds from Be Well & Co. sales will support initiatives addressing these inequities, while 100% of all donations will go directly to this critical cause.

Whether your donation is earmarked specifically for resolving African American disparities, specifically for Chiari Malformation initiatives or given in support of our general mission to be applied where best needed, 100% of that donation will tangibly and directly those who need it directly.

As people we often want to make a measurable impact in a fellow citizens life but it's not expertise to do so and frankly we just don't have the resource of time to do develop the education to directly assist another in charitable measure.
