Who Am I?

I’m Lani, though depending on the project, you might find me under the pen name Alani N.B. Ade, Naija Bae, or simply Naija. In my culture, having many names is a tradition, and each of mine serves as an Oríkì in its own right. 

Many wonder what Naija Bae truly means. It stands for "Nigerian Before Anything Else"—an homage to meeting my ancestors later in life, only to realize they had been guiding and protecting me all along. For that, I am deeply grateful.

I am a Proverbs 31 woman that stays in constant prayer, blessed with keen spiritual discernment and an unwavering devotion to my divine Creator. I'd describe myself as equal parts Hood & Holy. 

From a young age, my greatest joy has been tending to home and hearth, finding beauty in the art of creating a space that nurtures the soul. To me, the most rewarding part of the human experience is the people—loving them, nurturing them, having fun and building a life of abundance in a home filled with warmth, health, and prosperity.

True wealth isn’t just measured in material riches but in the time and space to cherish the people we enjoy. This is the life I cultivate, and this is the journey I share.
